Detailed workflow guide
Use Phil-IRI GST
Phil-IRI GST helps teachers keep local class reading records, enter GST results, see a recommended next step, and review the summary before moving into oral reading or export.
Teacher goal
How do I enter GST results and choose the next reading step safely?
Use this guide when this is the task in front of you. Stop if the selected class, learner, role, school year, file, or output does not match.

These checks cover saved, previewed, generated, and teacher-review states.
Correct class and date
The GST record should match the class and reading day the teacher intends to save.
Rule profile is understood
Use the rule profile shown by the app and do not treat it as a replacement for the teacher's reading process.
Scores are reviewed
Check entries before using the recommendation or moving into oral reading.
Passage path is ready
If the next step needs a passage, use an available local passage or import a teacher-provided passage first.
