Local data, backup, and recovery

GuroAssist keeps teacher work local-first. Backups protect the workspace before reinstalling, changing laptops, restoring, or cleaning school-year files.

Protect the teacher workspace

Class records, learner records, drafts, generated files, and backups belong to the local teacher workspace unless the teacher chooses to share them.

  • Before reinstalling

    Create a local backup from Settings before reinstalling Windows or GuroAssist.

  • Before changing laptops

    Back up the old laptop first. Paid access can move, but local work needs its own backup.

  • Before school-year cleanup

    Keep a backup before archiving, resetting, or cleaning up local workspace files.
