Clear terms for local work, Paid access, and live AI.

These Terms apply when you use the GuroAssist public website, Windows desktop app, support service, or Paid license. GuroAssist is operated by DataSyntrix. The restricted website administration area is an internal operator service and is not a teacher account portal.

By installing or using GuroAssist, or by requesting Paid activation, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice.

Free includes local class work, editing, saving, and preview or sample screens where available. Supported generated-file export and live AI are not included in Free.

Paid unlocks supported generated output files and live AI while credits remain. The current Paid offer is annual unless your payment or activation confirmation states otherwise. The price and included one-time AI credit grant shown when you request activation form part of that offer. There is no Trial plan.

• Paid activation is issued after the operator verifies the submitted payment receipt or reference.
• The one-time activation code must match the license email supplied with the payment.
• Code and license expiry dates are the dates shown in the activation confirmation or inside the app.
• Device replacement or transfer may require a supported transfer or an activation reset.

Contact support promptly if a payment is duplicated, an activation cannot be completed, or the service is not supplied as described. Refunds and other remedies are handled under applicable Philippine consumer law. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ordinary class records, learner records, generated files, templates, and workspace backups are stored on the teacher's device. You are responsible for choosing a safe storage location, keeping appropriate backups, and protecting files that contain personal information.

Paid access can be checked or transferred separately from local work. Reinstalling the app, replacing a device, or restoring Paid access does not automatically restore local records or generated files.

Live AI is available only while Paid access is active and AI credits remain. Do not submit learner names, identifiers, grades, health information, disciplinary details, confidential school records, or other unnecessary personal information to live AI.

• AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to content produced for someone else.
• The teacher must review content, calculations, citations, and suitability before use.
• Generated work remains a teacher-reviewed draft unless the app clearly labels it otherwise.
• GuroAssist is not endorsed by DepEd and does not replace required school review, approval, or submission processes.

Paid access does not override readiness checks. Official-looking output may be blocked when class setup, policy rules, templates, grades, or school-year readiness are incomplete.

You may use GuroAssist for lawful teacher-owned work. You must not:

• use the service to harm another person, violate privacy, or infringe intellectual-property rights;
• circumvent license, credit, device, security, or output-readiness controls;
• share, sell, or publish activation codes or attempt unauthorized access to the administration service; or
• use generated output as verified official information without the review and approvals required outside GuroAssist.

Local features can continue to work without a network where the app indicates they are available offline. Activation checks, updates, support, live AI, and other online functions depend on internet access and third-party services. They may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, provider, or technical reasons.

GuroAssist may change features, compatibility requirements, prices for future purchases, credit costs, or these Terms. Material changes will be dated on this page. A change does not shorten an already confirmed Paid term unless required for security, law, or provider availability.

When Paid access expires, the app returns to the Free capabilities available in that version. Local teacher work is not intentionally deleted merely because Paid access ends. Live AI and Paid-only file generation stop until Paid access and any required credits are available again.

DataSyntrix may revoke an activation obtained through fraud, payment reversal, code sharing, security abuse, or material violation of these Terms. Where practical and lawful, support will explain the reason and available next step.

GuroAssist is a teacher productivity tool, not an official DepEd submission, approval, grading authority, legal service, or guarantee that an output satisfies every local requirement. You remain responsible for reviewing your work and following applicable school, DepEd, privacy, copyright, and professional obligations.

To the extent allowed by law, DataSyntrix is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by unreviewed AI output, loss of unbacked-up local files, unsupported third-party templates, or events outside reasonable control. This limitation does not exclude liability or consumer remedies that Philippine law does not permit us to exclude.
