Import Phil-IRI passages
Passage import lets teachers bring a local DOCX passage into the reading library, preview detected details, review questions and hyphen handling, then save only when the passage is ready.

Prepare the teacher-provided DOCX
Use a local passage file the teacher controls, with readable passage text and question details needed for the reading activity.

Use Import passage DOCX and choose the trusted local file from the device or a teacher-controlled folder.

Review detected metadata
Check title, grade level, language, phase, question summary, and any messages about missing or unusual details.

Resolve required warnings, review hyphen handling, and confirm the passage reads correctly before adding it to the local library.

After saving, choose the passage from the local library only for the matching class reading activity.

Imported Phil-IRI passages are teacher-provided local materials. GuroAssist does not bundle, certify, or guarantee imported passages; the teacher should review them before use.
